Preschool Adventure Days

During Preschool Adventure Day, children will experience multi-sensory, hands-on activities that incorporate music, art, literacy and lots of fun.

“Research shows young children learn best by hands-on experience and Preschool Adventure Days provide a wealth of new vocabulary experiences,” said Erin Townley, Early Childhood Manager. “This is definitely an event that will provide lasting memories for children and families.”

Fun on the Farm

Saturday, March 24
10 a.m. to noon
Activities included with admission

All children love farm animals! Fun on the Farm, designed for children ages 18-months to 4-years-old, gives young children and their caregivers the chance to explore a common theme in children's songs and books in a fun, hands-on way. Children will learn more about how food grows, expand their vocabularies and early learning skills. During Fun on the Farm, guests will:

  • Paint with vegetables;
  • Explore how plants grow;
  • Practice farm animal yoga;
  • Create your own animal puppet to take home;
  • and meet a live cow from the Southeastern Dairy Association!

“Preschool Adventure Day: Fun on the Farm is a fun event with lots of hands-on activities that little ones love,” said Erin Townley, early childhood manager. “Children and their families will enjoy sharing this special, sensory-rich environment that allows them to explore farming, gardening and animals right in time for spring!”

Don't miss this multi-sensory event perfect for young children and their caregivers. All Fun on the Farm activities are included with the price of admission.
