Media Policy

Periodically, Creative Discovery Museum takes photographs, video, and/or audio recordings of Museum visitors and activities for educational and promotional purposes. With admission into the Museum, you give permission to the Museum for the recording of photographs, video, and/or audio of yourself and all accompanying minors. You grant the Museum, and its agents, successors and assigns, and licensees, all rights to use these images or recordings, without compensation, for educational, promotional, advertising, and other purposes which advance the overall mission of the Museum. All rights to the photographs, video, and audio belong to the Museum. Please see Guest Relations in the Museum lobby upon arrival if you do not wish to be photographed or recorded. You will be given an orange wristband that indicates to Museum staff that you do not wish to be photographed or recorded. We will do our best to avoid including you and your accompanying minors in any materials while at the Museum.

Security

Payments are processed through a third party site, Square. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. When you place orders our system makes use of secure server software. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts personal order information you input before it is sent to us.

Choice/Opt-Out

Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us at the point where we request information about the visitor. This site gives users the following options for removing their information from our database to not receive future communications or to no longer receive our service.
