Our volunteer program fosters the excitement of enriching the lives of children through learning and creativity. Join us today in sharing this enthusiasm with children.
Our Museum Apprentice Program for Teens (MAP program) is designed just for them! The MAPs attend special training sessions to learn about the Museum's operations and exhibits.
MAPs are trained to work in all of our exciting exhibits, and they also provide support for our Birthday Parties, camps, seasonal workshops, and various special events throughout the year. The MAP program requires a commitment of 8 hours per month year-round. Teens develop customer service skills, learn responsibility, and gain self-confidence. They also have a lot of fun! To apply, teens need to fill out an application online.
If your teen is homeschooled and interested in volunteering at CDM during the week (Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.), please fill out the application form by clicking the button below.
HOMESCHOOL APPLICATIONIf your teen is interested in beginning the MAP program on the weekends, please fill out the form by clicking the button below. Our team will contact you with more information when we have weekend availability.
