In our Elementary School Camps, your current kindergartener - 5th graders will experience:

• 7 hours of facilitated engagement in the Museum and in classroom spaces
• Social skill-building with support from caring camp staff
• Group lunch (sent from home) with their fellow campers and a daily "snacktivity" led by camp staff
• Fun, fun, and more fun for growing creative minds

What do we bring to CDM camp?

• A backpack with a change of clothes - things can get messy and we want our campers to be comfortable all day!
• A lunch from home and a refillable water bottle (we are unable to heat up camper lunches).
• A daily "snacktivity" will be provided. If your child has food allergies, we encourage you to pack an extra snack. We do our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Are CDM Elementary School Camps right for my child?

CDM sets the standard for developmentally appropriate practice, and we want your child to have a best-fit experience. Here are some signs that your child is ready for our Elementary camps:

• Your child is enthusiastically curious and can devote their attention to multi-step processes.
• Your child is adaptable to new environments, able to express themselves verbally, and able to respond to verbal instruction and redirection.
• Your child wants to spend their school breaks making friends, memories, and maybe a few messes in the Museum!

What if our plans change?

We understand that things come up. Here is our camp cancellation policy:

• 21 or more days before the first day of camp: 100% refund of camp registration fee
• 8-20 days before the first day of camp: 50% refund of camp registration fee
• 7 days or fewer before the first day of camp: No refund of camp registration fee
