Creative Discovery Museum (CDM) is a museum for all and the organization takes that very seriously. The health and safety of our visitors, staff and volunteers is our top priority. Being a resource for families, CDM has a social responsibility to our community and wants to participate in taking proactive measures to prevent the spread of illness in and around Chattanooga. CDM will remain closed indefinitely. All programs, events and parties are cancelled until CDM reopens.

Current memberships will be extended one month for every month we remain closed. We will update our system accordingly. You will not receive new membership cards.

CDM has had no known cases of COVID-19 associated with any of our visitors or staff. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention there is currently no evidence that children are more susceptible to COVID-19; however, they can still carry the virus to at-risk populations, such as older adults and those with chronic medical conditions.

CDM will make updates regarding re-opening on its website, social media channels and through its e-newsletter. All media inquiries should be directed to Kyrstin Hill, marketing and communications manager, at (423) 648-6054 or kmh@cdmfun.org.

For more information about how you can reduce your risk of exposure to transmittable viruses, please visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website at www.cdc.gov.
