Preschool Adventure: Rain or shine
Preschool Adventure: Rain or Shine
March 8 | 9-11 a.m. | Atrium
Spring brings all kinds of weather, and young explorers can experience it firsthand through interactive, hands-on activities! Families will discover wind by testing objects in a wind tunnel, create their own windsock, and explore wet weather with rain gauge sensory play and raindrop painting. They’ll also experiment with sunlight by casting shadows and making rainbow sculptures.
Designed for children ages 5 and under (but open to all), this event encourages playful learning while building motor, cognitive, and social skills. Special guests from Channel 3 Weather will be on the Plaza to help families dive into the science behind the forecast!
Free with Museum admission.
